LITIGATION PARALEGAL:

Active, dynamic, and family-oriented Trust & Probate law firm in Solana Beach seeks a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with at least three years of recent work experience civil litigation. We seek a long-term addition to our team to be an important role in our continued growth.

You would work with two to three attorneys and have access to one to two legal assistants in an enjoyable, collegial environment with work on many interesting cases.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Qualified Paralegal in accordance with California BPC § 6450.

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in civil litigation.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe. Mac experience a plus but not necessary.

  • Excellent organizational skills are critical. The right candidate must have the ability to efficiently organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them on time with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with diverse attorneys, staff, and clients. Must possess the ability to provide information with courtesy and tact while safeguarding confidentiality.

  • Excellent grammar, proofreading, and English composition skills are also essential.

  • Must be enthusiastic, articulate, a quick-study, friendly, dependable, punctual, a team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Current notary public commission a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage case files and support trust and probate litigation attorneys.

  • Draft and format, edit and proofread documents with attention to detail.

  • Prepare correspondence.

  • Communicate with clients as needed.

  • Electronic file organization and maintenance within Firm standards.

ESTATE PLANNING PARALEGAL:

Active, dynamic, and family-oriented Estate Planning and Trust Administration law firm in Solana Beach seeks a detail-oriented Certified Paralegal with at least three years of recent work experience in a law firm. We seek a long-term addition to our team to be an important role in our continued growth.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Current paralegal certificate and up-to-date CLE compliance required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience.

  • Experience with estate planning or contract law preferred.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe. Mac experience a plus but not necessary.

  • Excellent organizational skills are critical. The right candidate must have the ability to efficiently organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them on time with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member.

LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY:

Our busy trust and probate litigation practice in Solana Beach (with a second location in Pacific Beach) seeks a full-time Litigation Associate to join our existing staff of eight attorneys. This position will be based in our Solana Beach office, a short walk from the train station, and easily accessible from anywhere in San Diego County. Great opportunity to relocate from LA, the Inland Empire, or the Bay Area and enjoy the north San Diego County coastal lifestyle.

Had enough of the rat race at a big downtown firm? Our practice focuses exclusively on Estate Planning, Probate Administration, Trust Administration, and Trust and Probate Litigation. We seek an attorney with 5 or more years of demonstrable experience in civil litigation to join our growing, family-oriented firm. Trial experience is essential. Experience in Trust and Probate litigation is a plus, but not necessary.

You would be exclusively focused on litigation, representing beneficiaries, trustees, and other parties in Trust and Probate matters. This is an opportunity to establish a long-term career at our growing firm, not a transitional position. We have a fun, hard-working office with a collegial atmosphere and plenty of work on many engaging and interesting cases.
